CashtoCode available in 300,000 retail locations
CashtoCode, the payments service for online merchants, has announces its availability in over 300,000 retail locations across 10 new countries. Now that the CashtoCode network is further expanded, merchants will have instant access to countries across LATAM, Asia and Africa. 7-Eleven in Mexico, Santander in Brazil, and Western Union in The Philippines are among the new CashtoCode retail locations.
In several of these countries, cash transactions are still popular in the populations’ day-to-day life. They are often used to pay for digital services as well, such as online entertainment, social networks, gaming and streaming.
CashtoCode was designed exactly for these people, and it represents a way for online entertainment providers to reach hundreds of thousands of retailers. Merchants in these countries will benefit of this growth, as well as those who are looking to expand there.
In the last year and a half CashtoCode has gone through a noteworthy expansion, both in Europe and in international markets such as Nigeria and Australia. This new announcement, however, indicates its biggest growth to date, and the speed of the expansion just highlights the importance of CashtoCode in the current payments industry.
“This rapid expansion of our global footprint offers some big benefits to merchants and customers alike,” said CashtoCode CEO, Jens Bader. “Cash deposits have always proven to be an effective driver of incremental revenue, and many digital entertainment providers are exploring new ways of adding cash to their payments ecosystem.
“This expansion gives existing merchants the ability to immediately tap into a diverse mix of cash-centric countries and emerging markets. For customers who like cash, our service is secure, reliable and easy to use, and will fill a gap in the market for simple and accessible payment options.”
More about CashtoCode
CashtoCode is one of the latest emerging payment methods to have hit the market. As the name suggests, it turns your cash into a code, which you can apply to safely deposit at one of the many recommended CashtoCode Casinos.
Similar to PaySafeCard, you don’t need a bank account or a bank debit or credit card, in order to use this payment method, giving you an extra layer of anonymity.
Forming part of UK company Funanga AG, this payment service allows its consumers to purchase products and services without having to exchange banking or credit card information with the sites.
The story of CashtoCode stretches back to 2013 when a group of professionals wanted to integrate cash with e-commerce. CashtoCode was the result.
CashtoCove allows users to pay for services with a code or a barcode from e-commerce sites and other outlets. It allows players to exchange cash for a code giving them a certain degree of anonymity.
These days, there are more than 100,000 retail locations that accept this payment method as a service. Users can quickly find a store within their area by using the search box on their website.
As cash is declining as a payment method, users can use CashtoCode as a discreet option.
